This is a pretty sparkly piece of a quartz vein. Unknown locality from an old geologists collection.  The masking tape label has fallen off long ago.  She did lots of specimen collecting all over the US.  Watch video.  Specimen weighs 5.7oz or 162 grams.  It seems heavy to me for its size.
