It had fallen out of production elsewhere, but Legends Brass did not want the mouthpiece of the Maestro to fade away! Based on a scan of Jose Hernandez's personal mouthpiece, it has an inside rim diameter of 0.650", and a medium shallow bowl shaped cup (similar to Bach D in depth), and the #25 throat he uses. The Legends Manhattan backbore creates a very focused sound. This mouthpiece supports the bright, passionate Mariachi sound Jose Hernandez has been entertaining audiences with for over 40 years.
