Blower silencer gen2 for Antminer S21 T21

The asic miner gen2 silencer blower is a compact noise-reduction device with a stepless speed-regulation switch and a brushless DC motor. ​ ​It is designed explicitly for Antminer 12cm Fans,such as S21 T21, S19JXP, AL1, AL1pro, KS5, KS5pro etc. ​ ​It comes with fan simulator, but the it have sqaure 4pin fan simulator,when you bought the blower silencer,pls check its fan port carefully. ​ ​In the following content, we will conduct a detailed review of this silencer blower to analyze how it can say goodbye to loud, disruptive fan noise, and enjoy quieter, smoother operation with softer, lower-frequency sound and bring more benefits to ASIC miners.

1. Small size (ASlC miner blower silencer gen2 VS traditional silencer)

1) The weight is only 2.55kg, while the old version of the silencer is 7kg or more, and the transportation cost will be significantly reduced.

2) The overall size of the blower muffler gen2 is small, light and easy to move.

2. More reasonable detail design

1) The air shroud has been upgraded to screw fixing, no longer requiring clamps and tape, making installation more convenient and beautiful;

2) The air outlet of the shroud has been upgraded to a single outlet, increasing the air volume and reducing wind resistance.

3. Easy to install

After removing the original miner fan and replacing it with a speed simulator, the blower can be connected to operate normally. ​ ​ ​Antminer s19 install asic miner blower silencer gen2 ​ ​The Gen2 blower silencer has a quick disassembly and installation design. With the help of supporting tools, it can be installed on the S19 within 5 minutes.

The installation process consists of four steps:

Step 1. Fix the air hood to the blower body with tape and clamps (After the upgrade, the installation steps here are to fix the fan cover to the blower body with screws.) ​ ​Step 2. Remove the original cooling fans of the miner after powering off. ​ ​Step 3. Install the PWM speed simulator on the control board. ​ ​Step 4. Fix the blower to the air inlet/outlet of the miner with screws.

4. More energy-saving and better heat dissipation

Note: The brushless DC motor of the ASIC miner blower silencer gen2 adopts square-wave drive and concentrated winding design, resulting in lower switching losses and copper losses. Combined with efficient magnetic-circuit control, its measured energy efficiency is higher than traditional brushless AC motors, enabling greater energy savings.

The blower silencer gen2 mainly eliminates the sharp noise of ASIC miners through the principles of "acoustic impedance matching" and "high-frequency energy dissipation." It precisely targets the sharp noise of Antminer S19 at 80-85dB and above and eliminates high-harmonic frequencies (2–8kHz, such as metallic friction sounds, alarm sounds, electric tool noises, and high-frequency mechanical noises). The innovative turbine structure allows it to maintain the air volume while destroying the coherence of high-frequency sound waves through swirling airflow, making the harsh sound comfortable and soft.

We adjusted the gen2 blower silencer and other silencers to the maximum wind speed and conducted comprehensive tests using a wind speed tester, power socket tester, and decibel

1) The Blower Silencer Gen2 consumes approximately 161W, while the other silencers consume around 271W, representing a 40% energy savings.

2) The two are about 12.1m/s and 8.0m/s, respectively. The ASIC miner Blower Silencer Gen2 has a wind speed of 4.1m/s higher, enabling more efficient heat dissipation.

Note: The stepless speed-regulation of the blower silencer gen2 uses PWM (pulse-width modulation) to continuously adjust the voltage/current, with a response time as short as milliseconds. In contrast, 3 3-level speed-regulation relies on fixed-winding tap switching, which has a mechanical delay (about 0.5-1 second) and fixed-gear intervals. Therefore, the acceleration curve of stepless speed-regulation is smoother, and the instantaneous response is faster, which can quickly and significantly reduce the operating temperature of miners.

3) The operating temperature of the Antminer S19 has been greatly improved, with the inlet and outlet air temperatures dropping by about 10°C compared to before installation.
