"Intercosmos" is an international space program launched by the USSR in 1967, within the framework of which representatives of friendly socialist countries took part in space flights and research.
The Baikonur Cosmodrome is the first and largest cosmodrome in the world, from which the first artificial Earth satellite was launched (1957) and the first man, Yuri Gagarin, was sent into space (1961).
The date on the document – June 11, 1980 – indicates the date of its issue, probably during the period of active work of the Intercosmos program.
This Space Lot contains a badge with an image of the Earth, an orbital trajectory and the inscription "Baikonur", which is also associated with the cosmodrome and the Intercosmos program.
