Created to celebrate the sneaker design process, this edition draws directly from Tinker Hatfield’s original draft sketches of the iconic Air Max 1. Elements like the Swoosh and mudguard are presented “colored-in,” revealing a raw, hand-rendered vibe over the traditional overlays in red—highlighting the creative journey from concept to product.

 

Crafted with a combination of mesh and synthetic suede, the construction mirrors the OG Air Max 1 silhouette while offering visual cues like scribbled notes and sketch line graphics on the translucent outsole, giving wearers a constant reminder of the design behind the design.
