This pattern was worn in the 1954 American film "From Here to Eternity," which won eight Academy Awards, and it also sparked a Hawaiian shirt boom across the United States.
As the name Duke's Pineapple suggests, this product is a faithful reproduction of the one actually used by Duke Kahanamoku himself.
