Early 20th century folk art oil painting with frame measurements 12 1/4 x 6 3/4 inches. The work bears the artist initials J. D. M. in the lower right suggesting it may have been painted by a self-taught or outsider artist active in the Southern or folk-art traditions, though the identity of the artist remains unconfirmed.
