This is a striking set of 7 rare 1920s Haviland Limoges Art Deco dinner

plates. These 10 1/4" plates employ the smooth blank and feature an

unusual Art Deco stylized bird in a center circular frame. The border

design features bright blue circles with an inner ring of yellow/gold on

stark black "branches" framed with a gold edge and an inner black line

at the verge. The plates are without chips or cracks and show just a

little wear. They are marked with the green Haviland France whiteware

mark and the decorator mark in brick red Decorated by Haviland & Co.

Limoges, dating them to pre-1931. Enjoy!
