This listing is for a beautiful octagonal Vista Alegre porcelain cache pot. The striking part of the design is a 3-D face that is on opposite sides of this piece. It is an elegant decorative piece. The face is set off with petals. A repeated leaf design is on the upper and lower edge of the yellow section of the jardiniere. This stunning retro item is the most joyful yellow. The underside of the cache pot is marked with a printed backstamp and reads, “Vista Alegre. Portugal.” This exact logo is not on the company’s website in the section about porcelain marks; however, the “VA” font matches one logo – that dates from 1968-1971. The piece measures 6” tall and its opening measures 6 5/8” in diameter. Recommend hand washing. This was an estate sale purchase that no longer fits with my decor. Please see photos to supplement this description.
