Sheet Number(s): Glamorgan 44-12, 44-16

Edition: 1919

Coverage includes:

Wick, Broughton, Monknash, etc. Mining, railway & industrial interest.

Two adjoining sheets.

The Ordnance Survey County Series mapping of Glamorganshire 1873-1943 was published in sheets 40 x 28  inches approx, each covering an area 1.5 x 1 mile, detailing every building and field at the scale of 1:2500 (twenty five inches to the mile). Invaluable to local history researchers, genealogists, or collectors.  These sheets from my collection are all folded to convenient size.

Note that all were issued by OS, and are not modern reproductions.
Home photography of large plans without specialised camera & lighting equipment does not do justice to clarity and fine detail, but the images will give a general idea of the area covered.
