This original, 1936 antique book is in excellent overall condition. Bound in gray cover with navy blue lettering on the cover and spine, the book has light rubbing, but is clean and has solid binding throughout. The exterior has no bumping and only light edge wear. The interior is clean and the pages are in excellent condition. The book has a hand-writting gift inscription dated 1936. It has no other writing, and has no foxing, smudging, pasteboards, or stamps. The book has no looseness or lean and both hinges are fine. 1037 pages. This Pulitzer Prize winning classic is in nice overall condition; an uncommon 1936 copy.
