Rear-mounted spare wheel carrier for Ford Transit MK6 and MK7 vans.

A strong, practical solution for carrying your spare wheel at the rear of the van, keeping it easy to access and freeing up space elsewhere on the vehicle.

Supplied unfinished in bare metal, ready for you to paint, powder coat or finish to suit your van.

Vehicle Requirements

Fits:

• Ford Transit MK6 and MK7 from 2000-2014 with Single Rear Wheel PCD 5x160mm.
• Ford Transit MK6 and MK7 from 2000-2014 with Twin Rear Wheel PCD 6x180mm.
• The carrier also has a 6x120mm hole set if required.
• This wheel carrier now has an adjustable wheel mounting tower that accepts both single and twin wheels.
• Fits all roof heights.

This wheel carrier can only be fitted to vans with 180 degree hinges. If you have 270 degree hinges you will need to replace them for 180 hinges which are readily available on eBay.

Fitting Instructions

Fixings required to fit the wheel carrier to the van are supplied.

Wheel Carriers bolt through holes that need drilling in the hinges and requires two holes drilling in the skin of the door. This wheel carrier can only be fitted to vans with 180 degree hinges.  

Always test fit any bolt-on product before painting to be sure it fits. We will not reimburse for painting if the part is not test fitted prior to painting.

All drilled holes will require any bare metal painting to prevent corrosion. We also bond the door skin mount and the door skin which removes the point load off the bolts whilst also sealing up the hole to prevent water ingress.

Wheel carriers are made to order; typically on a 10-day lead time. Following an order, your wheel carrier is added to our production planner and we aim manufacture and ship your order as quickly as possible.
