This is an aluminum diesel badge. This badges comes with the backing plate to allow it to properly attach to the 70 Series grille. Make sure you look at your grille and our pictures closely to ensure you do in fact have the correct era grille for this badge. The OEM screw pegs are not present on our badge so that the badge can mount to 70 series grilles that did NOT come with the holes for mounting. Our badge mounts with 3M automotive badge adhesive. It's plenty strong to hold the badge for many years without issue as long as the surface is thoroughly cleaned before install. No drilling of the factory grille is needed. Simply peel back the red backing and stick it on.
