Jan Herman's book about the famous director William Wyler. Published by Putnam in 1996. There was an event at the Directors Guild of America in 1996, which included a booksigning for this book. Virginia Mayo was also there and also signed the book. Jan Herman personalized the book to me, and referred to my patience waiting in line to purchase a signed copy. There is much information available online about William Wyler's career, so I don't need to anything here. (I will say my favorite film of ANY decade, belongs to Mr. Wyler's - The Best Years of Our Lives. IMO, a perfect film.) The book is unread and includes the extras you see in the photos. It has been Brodarted since 1996. Reflections can be seen in the photos of the book cover.  This is from the Brodart. The book is very rare - signed by Mr. Herman and Ms. Mayo - and in unread protected condition since purchase.  $10 to ship/handle with insurance, domestically - by USPS or FedEx. Local pick-up is available.
