Description

This is an amazing find from 'The President' Hotel in Athens Greece. While the majority of the hotel's contents ended up in the skip we managed to salvage these ones. The elderly hotel manager told us that they arrived in the hotel during the 1970s from a Greek manufacturer and then as a room service boy he would place them in the rooms. The base is made from pure brass which makes it quite heavy and steady, the top if I am not mistaken is iron. Eventually you could change the brown colour to fit your interior. If you would like us to do that for you in powder coated is possible. Although very simple design, this piece speaks to a rich heritage of craftsmanship. It would adore any entrance or office room or bedroom.
