This listing is for a schematic only of the transmitter described below. Coil data for the HF bands, 80 thru 20 meters is provided.

There is no step by step construction manual with this listing, just a schematic, with parts values.

This is a 1950's style homebrew cw transmitter that's totally self-contained, no external power supplies required. Works great on 80 and 40m CW. It will also work on other bands, with appropriate plug-in coils and crystals.

The chassis is a 3D print. RF power runs close to 5 watts input on 80 and 40 meters.

The HC49/U QRP crystals will have a bit of chirp, especially on the higher bands. I detect little, if any chirp, when using the old standard FT-243 crystals.

Once powered on, the internal inverter power supply produces over 200 volts, no load. So if you are not familiar with the hazards of working with high voltage, please do not purchase this item. It can be lethal if not handled with respect!

You'll need 2 of the 26650 rechargeable, lithium batteries, to power the high voltage dc circuit board, plus 2 of the CR123a rechargeable batteries for the 3Q5 filament. Other batteries or external power sources may be used, so long as they provide the necessary voltage and current capabilities.

Controls are send/off/standby, plus the two PA and Antenna tuning controls for the Pi-network tank circuit.

MAILING TO THE UNITED STATES ONLY.
