The saw is in great original condition, restored and sharpened to cross-cut with a full depth of cut.
The plate is 14 inches long with a brass back and original beechwood handle. The handle is in good condition with no chips or splits. Brass nuts and bolts are also original (please examine photos for actual condition). There is no wobble, the plate sharpened to cross cut. Tooth line is straight. The saw is clean to use, otherwise could be a great addition to someones collection.
This saw is later example from late 19th century by very reputable manufacturer and excellent quality. Heavy with a thick brass back. Made in and marked Sheffield.
This saw has been looked after very well and would be a great addition to any workshop or collection.
