The plate is 14 inches long with a thick brass back and original beechwood open handle. The handle is in excellent condition with no chips or splits. Brass nuts and bolts are also original (one nut is missing). There is no wobble, plate originally sharpened to cross cut. Tooth line is straight. The saw just needs sharpening and may need a little clean as well as replacing one nut. Otherwise could be a great addition to someones collection.

This saw is later example from 19th century by very reputable manufacturer and excellent quality. Heavy with a thick brass back. Made in and marked Sheffield.

This saw has been looked after very well and would be a great addition to any workshop or collection.
