This sale is for 10 (TEN) BRONZE GLASS TILES each with a PAIR of SLUMPED GLASS DOMES and a nice ORGANIC APPEARANCE.

GREAT for Stained Glass or other Art / Craft projects!

QUICK LOOK:

TILES: 10pcs - Bronze Glass - 2” x 4”.

DOMES (MEDIUM): 32mm dam. x 13-14mm high.

The tiles in this lot have MEDIUM dome heights (see last photo for comparisons)

These were manufacturing by-products that were never used for their original intended purpose. They are however uniquely suited for many creative applications, including: STAINED-LEADED-COPPER FOIL GLASS PROJECTS as well as for MOSAICS or other MULTI MEDIA CRAFTWORK. Great for ACCENTS and INLAYS. They can be BACK PAINTED with glass dyes-paints or incorporated in ceramics, woodwork, sculptures, etc. Great for MOD LAMP DESIGNS including lens, shade and diffuser designs. Only your own creativity and ingenuity can limit the ways these unique tiles might be used.

Each tile measure roughly 2” x 4” x 1/4”(6mm), the Domes on this lot are about 32mm in diameter and a MEDIUM height, rising about 13-14mm above the tile surface providing a more dramatic effect to your project than the average height domes. These pieces are basically HAND-MADE. They were NOT stamped or molded. The glass was placed on forms and slumped in a furnace. Though being somewhat uniform in appearance, each one has an individual character uniquely suited for your own hand-crafted project.

These tiles have never been used, so for all practical purposes, they should be considered new. They have however been subject to post production handling, being jostled about and stored loosely in small boxes and bins with other similar glass parts. As such there may be minor physical flaws present (minuscule scratches, scuffs, tiny edge chips etc). See condition details below.

PLEASE NOTE that the tiles were loosely placed on the forms by eye and the domes may not be uniformly centered from tile to tile. So please, examine the photos well and be aware that these pieces are being sold AS IS - AS FOUND with no returns!

The condition is VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT with perhaps some modest variations in measurements and symmetry that is generally valued in hand-made craft. Any issue that I would consider significant will be described below.

Some may have minuscule flaws from handling as previously mentioned, perhaps even a small chip or two on the edges that would likely be hidden when mounted. All very minor. They are otherwise clean, bright and just looking for an artist or craftsman to creatively use them!.

I do have a moderate, but limited quantity of these (including some with other dome diameters and heights) as well as other forms of glass “by-products” in bronze glass and to a lesser extent, clear or “glass green”.
