This is a limited edition (of 3,000), Steiff, Mint-in-Box, felt doll replica of COLORO CLOWN, complete with both Steiff buttons, (one-in-ear and other with clothing tag) (#0000218) window box and stand. The doll was manufactured in Germany in the period of 1988-1989 and is recommended for all ages and for both boys and girls. It belongs to the category of stuffed animals and is part of the Steiff brand, known for its high-quality toys. The doll's size is medium, with a height of 16 inches, and is perfect for collectors and lovers of clown dolls.  Doll, stand and box are in excellent, clean condition with no damages or repairs, no fading and no odors as they are from a smoke free home. 
     "Coloro Clown size 43 cms was added to the range of toys in 1911 and is being reproduced by the Margarete Steiff Company in 1988-1989 as a Limited Edition Replica of 3,000 pieces. This doll is hand crafted with loving care of materials as close as possible to the original doll, which is shown at the Margarete Steiff Museum in Giengen an der Brenz. No. 0218."
