This deciduous small tree grows to about 4m. It has slender bright green leaves, coppery when young and has yellow autumn foliage. It has single orange flowers followed by red fruits with bright red flesh in mid-late Summer

On 31/12/2019 my house, 4 tractors, shed & about 7/8th of the nursery was destroyed in the Black Summer Bushfire & Cobargo was described as a Hell Fire
The 1/8th that was not burnt was where I irrigated on the Monday, the day before. Yes it is as Chalk & Cheese as that.
