Brown, ivory, green, mainly. (The lighter spots in the upper corners of the main photo are just glare/reflection.)

Both front and back have the intricate mosaic design. (I could not coordinate the sizes for the main photo, putting two images together. but of course they are the same size.

It's as if the two pieces are sandwiched together. See side view, last photo.

Handmade, so there are some small imperfections. 

There is an oval recess for a photo. When received as a gift in 1972, had a portrait painted in the oval. I have removed the paint as well as I could. (It was an unflattering likeness).  One of the photos shows some of the image.  For the main photo the oval was edited electronically and filled in with gray. The ivory color part is not as yellow as it appears in the main photo.

There is no glass. A photo can be placed in the oval, and adhered if wished.
