fold-out 1941 Phillips 66 road map of Missouri, printed more than 84
years ago. -
The map opens to 18" x 24" and has great
detail on old highway alignments, including U.S. Route 66, with
cartography by H.M. Gousha.

This map was published by the Phillips Petroleum Company
of Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 1941 and is dated by the code
number in the lower margin: 11-O. Population data is from the 1940 census.

On the reverse side there is a transcontinental map of the United States showing the coverage area served by Phillips, along with the names of other oil companies that accept the Phillips credit card.
- Three panels of text provide a guide to "Interesting Places in Missouri," including Hannibal, Lake Taneycomo, Fairy Cave, and Jefferson City.
