About the Books:
These two volumes—Genealogies of Mayflower Families from the New England Historical and Genealogical Register, Volumes I and III—offer a meticulously compiled treasure trove of information for anyone tracing their lineage to the original Mayflower passengers or seeking to explore the rich tapestry of early colonial New England ancestry. Edited by renowned genealogist Gary Boyd Roberts and published by the respected Genealogical Publishing Company in 1985, these volumes represent a comprehensive, scholarly collection of family histories originally published in the prestigious New England Historical and Genealogical Register.

Volume I (Adams–Fuller) and Volume III (Peck–Wolcott) together cover hundreds of surnames, including detailed lineages, vital records, wills, biographical sketches, and family groupings—making them invaluable reference tools for genealogists, historians, and Mayflower descendants alike. The information is drawn from decades of research and reflects the high standards of NEHGS, one of the oldest and most respected genealogical societies in the United States.

Whether you're conducting original family research, verifying lineage for membership in hereditary societies like the General Society of Mayflower Descendants, or simply passionate about early American history, these volumes provide reliable, well-documented data in an accessible, professionally indexed format.

Having both volumes in hand is a distinct advantage, allowing researchers to reference a broader swath of family connections and colonial networks. These books are not only trusted resources but also enduring legacies of scholarship—essential additions to any genealogical library. Hard-to-find and always in demand, especially as original printings, these volumes offer historical depth and research integrity that’s unmatched in online databases.
