I own the largest collection of rare sports pages and sports related newspapers in the country. In my Store, Gallery of The Game, not only will you find Major Sporting events and stars from yesteryear, but you will find lesser-known stories and photos of players, teams and events. These offer an opportunity to find a genealogical history of family members who played sports. My store also carries other sports related paper ephemera. Add me as a favorite seller so you will be notified when new listings are added.

Available is an original sports page that came from an August 23, 1919 edition of a Chicago American newspaper. The page features a combination of illustrations and sports article profiling the Detroit Tigers young outfielder, Harry Heilmann. This was one of a series of similar features by Walsh titled "Big League Yarns"

Harry Edwin Heilmann, nicknamed "Slug", was an American baseball player and radio announcer. He played professional baseball for 19 years between 1913 and 1932, including 17 seasons in Major League Baseball with the Detroit Tigers (1914, 1916–1929) and Cincinnati Reds (1930, 1932). He was a play-by-play announcer for the Tigers for 17 years from 1934 to 1950.

Walter "Christy" Walsh was an American writercartoonist, and sports agent. He is best known for acting as Knute Rockne and Babe Ruth's agent, and is considered to be the first sports agent in baseball.
