Fabulous etching after the master himself Rembrandt.

The woman maybe the portrait of NELTJE PIETERSDR who was about 62 years old

The original painted in 1632 is in the collection of the Museum of Fine Art in Boston USA

This is a c 1880 etching

W Wright North was a listed etcher in the late Victorian era

The print measures 34 X 24.5 CM

The image is oval and measures 17.5 x 13.5 cm

There appears to be a signature in the print by the etcher.

Rembrandt of course signed and dated the original.

I have also included the press marks border to show it is an original print.
