This box has been opened but the clock has never actually been used nor does it appear to have ever been even taken out. I only opened it up to see the state of the clock and to ensure the COA and instructions are included, which they are. According to the instructions it seems that it will need 1 AA battery and 3 C batteries which will not be included.
