This Intel made/version of the X520-DA2 is way more compatible(These use the genuine Intel boot code while the Dell X520's use a modified firmware version more tuned to just their Poweredge Servers and their lifecycle controller, while the HP Version reports differently and uses different firmware too) than cheaper Dell or HP versions of the X520! We do not sell fakes.

All ports tested day cards go out and unlike most any other Ebay seller, we also update the Intel boot code to the latest version, not as easy as you think to make these the most compatible cards! Pulled in good working order from retired servers from a multi billion dollar company. No broken clips / heatsinks etc!

Some servers(especially SuperMicro / Synology / Lenovo / HP) do not like the Dell or HP versions where this real Intel made version does work great in them. These significantly better Intel's work perfectly fine in Dell also btw. The real Intel 82599 / 82599ES chipset of our cards also tend to be more supported and trouble free than the Intel X710-DA2 + in many applications.

This card is for use with SFP Optics or Direct Attach Cable/DACs, it is not a RJ45 Copper Card.

Works with any brand 10Gb SPF+ DAC / Direct Attached Cable & 1Gb SX / LX SFP GBIC optics. For 10Gb SFP+ SR / LR Optics, Intel branded is recommended.(Sometimes other brands work fine & we can help with workarounds for certain OS's but we can not guarantee if not using Intel 10gb transceivers ie E10GSFPSR, E10GSFPLR), we have them if you need.
