"The Stronghold" is a Ukrainian adventure fantasy film based on the book of the same name by Volodymyr Rutkivskyi. On the postage stamp you can see three heroes, three ancient defenders of Ukraine, who are the heroes of this tape - they are Oleshko, Ilya, Dobrynya.
"The Stronghold" tells the story of an ordinary boy Vitko, who during a solar eclipse finds himself a thousand years back, in Kievan Rus, in the midst of a decisive battle between Good and Evil.
The slogan of the film: "Protect the past for the sake of the future!". More than 200 people worked on the filming of the Ukrainian fantasy, a wooden fortress was specially built. 160 costumes were made for the actors, and another 150 were selected from private collections. The stone monster Golem, created exclusively with the help of computer graphics, also takes part in the film.
