FA8 6 FT T8 LED directly replaces the 44 watt 72" fluorescent bulb FO72 without rewiring or modification. It's a Plug & Play product from our "Relamp Series" LED upgrade while using the existing ballast. T8 bulb works with traditional magnetic and modern electronic ballasts, including Instant Start, Programmed Start, Rapid Start, and legacy magnetic ballasts.


Installation:

  1. Turn power OFF before installation
  2. Remove the existing lamp
  3. Install T8 LED
  4. Switch on power

About New York LED Luminaries (NYLL)

 
NYLL, New York LED Luminaries, is located at 4117 New Utrecht Ave., Brooklyn, New York. Two entrepreneurs worked on LED retrofit kit and have found that the retrofit kit is complicated and time consuming when installed into the current light fixtures with fluorescent lamps. They focused on developing T8 and T12 LED tubes that can directly replace the glass fluorescent lamps without modifications. At the end of 2013, they have developed the first generation LED tubes that work with magnetic and electronic ballasts. Currently, they have further developed the technology of direct replacement for all the linear T8 and T12 fluorescent lamps up to 8 feet. Their design which are also compatible with magnetic and electronic ballasts for G13, FA8 and R17D lamp base/holder.
