In loose leaf condition as the back cover isn't there. All the alphabet is there, but there are several loose pages. I don't read German, so I'm not totally sure of all the content. The litho illustrations are gorgeous!    Please examine photos closely as they are a part of the description. This book is well loved and in used condition.
