This is a large, cast bronze cowbell (~8 inches/20 cm diameter) made by Gusset Foundry in Uetendorf, Switzerland, and sold by Eisen Kohlen AG Interlaken. It features a Swiss cross-in-shield with swirling floral patterns, a rosette border near the top, and a 3.5"-wide leather strap. Markings: "Gusset / Uetendorf / Giesserei" (in an oval on the inside of the bell), "Eisen Kohlen AG Interlaken," and "20" (size). This cowbell is a beautiful example of mid-20th-century Swiss craftsmanship, made by Gusset in the 1950s–1970s and sold by Eisen + Kohlen AG in Interlaken. Its bronze material, Swiss cross, and floral design capture the essence of Swiss alpine culture during that time. This bell and the strap both show wear - some nicks, scuffs, etc - I have not done any cleaning or polishing - please view all the photos to fully gauge condition.
