This is a Big Bore Kit for the 1980 Honda 185 and the 1981-1983 Honda 185S.  This factory Honda ATC 185 63.00mm cylinder has been bead blasted and precision bored and honed to a second Honda 200 size, which is 65.50mm (10 oversizes for the Honda 185). This will give your performance a boost by changing your engine displacement from 180cc to 195cc. This cylinder will also work as a factory replacement in the second oversize ATC 200 for the following Honda models: 1981-83 ATC 200, 1984-85 ATC 200M, 1982-83 ATC 200E BIG RED, 1984 ATC 200ES BIG RED, 1984-86 200S three-wheelers and 1984 TRX200 Fourtrax four-wheeler. This kit includes the OEM Honda remanufactured cylinder shown in the photos, Hi-Caliber Powersports Parts top end gasket kit which includes everything from the cylinder base gasket and up with valve stem seals and exhaust gasket, and a Namura piston and rings kit (made in Taiwan), which includes the piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips. We will also provide proper break-in procedures for your new Big Bore top end rebuild kit.   • A NEW OEM Quality Precision Bored Honed Big Bore Cylinder. We make sure that every cylinder is accurately honed before it leaves our facility.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?  Final honing of the cylinder creates a crosshatch pattern that gives the piston rings the correct textured surface for proper seating.  This will ensure proper break-in for the rings, allowing them to seat correctly which, in turn, provides a longer lasting top end rebuild. The importance of the honing procedure cannot be over-emphasized. 
  • Namura stock-size (65.50mm) Piston Kit.  The kit includes a new piston, new rings, new wrist pin, and two circlips. Namura piston kits are of the highest quality.
