Just looking at this adorable premie makes you want to hug her! Adorable, huggable and happy would be the best way to describe this Vintage Cabbage Patch Kids doll.  With captivating big brown eyes, charming little dimples and a smile just for you, she will steal your heart before you know it. She is a premie – so she is bald- but that makes her eyes stand out that much more!  Original and authentic, she has an original CPK bright yellow outfit with white lace and booties!  Her diaper is intact as well. There is a dark mark on her right bootie  (please see pics) which I did not try and clean.  She is in very good vintage condition for her ripe ‘ol age, with no rips, tears or stains on her person; however, she is a vintage item and therefore not perfect (although she appears pretty perfect to me😊). She has HM #4, complete with tags and a black Xavier Roberts signature on her bum – which is how I knew how old she was.  

Fun fact: Xavier Roberts, who invented the Cabbage Patch Kids dolls, was a 21-year-old art student that came up with the doll idea in 1976. By 1978, Roberts and five of his school friends started a company called the Original Appalachian Artworks, Inc., which sold the entirely plush, hand-made Little People dolls (the name was to change later) at a retail price of $100 or more. Roberts would travel to arts and craft shows to sell the dolls, which already had the adoption aspect to them – genius! In 1982, Roberts and his friends were unable to keep up with the mass orders and signed a contract with Coleco, which could mass-produce the dolls—now with plastic heads and be called Cabbage Patch Kids. Coleco sold the dolls for $35–45 dollars each.  

Obtained this adorable doll some time ago.  I just know someone will be happy to give her a good home❤️
