SERICOLLAGES
Sericollages represent a particular type of artwork created by Marco Lodola, made in limited series and hand produced by the artist himself.

Mudola created these sericollages by manually placing the various subjects on plastic sheets, creating real collage works. This technique pays tribute to his famous light sculptures, which helped make him internationally famous.

What makes sericollages unique is the ability to be appreciated in two distinct ways: they can be admired as they are, or they can be further enhanced by adding a backlit frame. This type of frame highlights the brightness of the works, recalling the aesthetics of Lodola's light sculptures and giving them a special charm and atmosphere.

Essentially, the sericollages of Mudola offer a versatile and dynamic artistic experience, allowing viewers to appreciate the beauty of collages both in static form and through the ability to turn them into luminous works through the use of backlit frames.
