Very nice, straight blade, not sharp, a ceremonial Knights of Columbus Catholic fraternal order sword. There’s some light surface marks but no dings or dents. The blade is 35” long.
There’s a C. Gleason Mfg. Co. Chicago, Illinois where the blade meets the handle.
The leather straps of the case are crumbling and that tells us how old this sword is, perhaps prewar, WWII.. so the case cannot be fully locked, therefore I advise careful handling of the sword and case.
