D.I.D. ERV7 Drive chain is their high quality Racing X-Ring chain with Direct Energy Transfer, SDH Pin for extreme impact Pin strength and Solid Bush Cold-formed High-precision Bushing. 
This chain is Non O-ring Chain. This is a simple series of metal links forming plain bearings. This chain is appropriate for lower powered or older motorcycles, as well as off-road bikes.

X-RING
D.I.D’s Patented X-Ring is superior to others. Half the power loss compared with a normal O-Ring chain. D.I.D’s Patented X-Ring construction reduces friction by twisting between the side plate instead of being squashed. The twisting action of the X-Ring disperses the pressure and minimizes power loss. The X-Ring’s four contact points greatly increase its sealing performance. This keeps the dirt out and the lubrication in much better than any other O-Ring type seal.
