This is a June 1981 (issue #114) Zig Zag Magazine. Duran Duran is on the cover in full mid-1981 glory and the subject of a prescient three page article with color photos. Keep in mind MTV which was ultimately to drive so much of the band’s success did not premiere until 1 August 1981!
There are also articles on John Cale (incorrectly noted as being on page 11), Altered Images, Quentin Crisp, Bob Marley and Modern English amongst a few others. They packed a lot of information in every issue of Zig Zag and mid 1981 was an interesting time in music.
You can see from the pictures this item is in VG condition. It was part of a collection held by a former A&R guy, stored in a climate controlled atmosphere. I see no rips, tears or water damage other than some deterioration on top left of cover meriting a VG rating. There is some minor discoloration on some pages due to the type of paper used by the publisher.
