Holly Headstock Veneer with MOP inlay, ready for placement. These headstocks have changed dimension over the years. The measurements for this overlay came from a vintage 1959 ,and I make them to those specifications.  It may or may not fit a reissue, so look at the measurements closely. The one on the left has a lower placement for the MOP , which is the approximate placement of the logo for a 1957 Gold Top. The one on the right is 58-60, and has a higher placement MOP. The headstock shape is the same depending how much sanding is done.

So if you are doing a restoration , or building a replacement neck, or repairing a broken headstock, and you need a select piece of holly,  this is it.  You can place logo and drill the correct sizing for your tuners. Be sure to specify 57 Gold Top MOP placement or 58-60 placement when you order !
