Tested with "D" batteries and it is working

The audio sounds a little anemic or audible strength a little low

Cosmetic condition is excellent for this radio - very clean

Full antenna as original

Inside battery compartment shows no signs of any corrosion 

The only notable flaw I saw is that the underneath of the handle has a small crack (see last 2 photos)

Also the manual guide cover page has separated 

It has never been serviced to my knowledge and would probably benefit greatly from a full service check for capacitors etc

I have had this for several years on a shelf in non smoking home

I bought this from the original owners son after his passing away

Time to downsize some of my collection to make way for new things
