This is a unique find - a 6 1/2" in height, covered vanity hand-blown glass jar, with intricate detailing such as applied twisted art glass handles, glass leaves, gold color gilding, porcelain roses and ribbon accents.

I believe the line "Via Veneto" was actually by the French glass company Duralex in the 1960s/70s, trying to capitalize on the Italian/Murano art glass market and designs. However, scant information is found on the topic.

The item is 5 1/2" from tip to tip of the handles. The base is only 2" in diameter. Without the top, the jar edge is only about 3 1/2" in height from the table top.

The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or residue inside. The porcelain roses and ribbon look slightly discolored with age. I see some small imperfections in the hand-blown nature of the glass.

As with all my items, I take great care in packing fragile items like this extremely carefully so they arrive to you without issue.

Please see all pictures for condition and details. Enjoy!
