US #267 WASHINGTON COVER MINNESOTA TO ALEXANDRIA MINNESOTA - - You are bidding on one addressed cover mounting US #267, the 2c Carmine Washington Type III tied by a Minn. AUG 4 1898 Circle Date Cancellation. Stamp is most likely #267 versus #252 based on date. Reverse bears another Alexandria cancellation as well as pencil markings of numbers. Cover has been torn open at right and has several other tears at top and bottom. Stamp is sound except for missing perf at lower right corner.
