The kit is perfect for sport building or collecting. The kit exhibits typical quality of older mass produced kits. To be competitive with the plane it is likley you would need to substitute some or all wod parts for lighter grades. Many use kits like this as “templates” to create a kit from.

The design is originally for rubber power but it could be converted to an electric park flyer radio control by a capable builder.
