NOTE:
This is an inexpensive option to the expensive
BREMBO, MAGURA, etc. master cylinders.
Obviously, these are not as nice as a $250.00 and up master,
but they work fine on most master applications,
and are a great deal for the price.
DO NOT BUY if you are looking for the highest quality components,
this is just a low cost, import unit.
I don't know much about stunt bikes, so i asked a customer
a question:
"what all does it take to set this up as a stunt/rear master?
Obviously you need a brake line to go to the rear,
and then do you use a double banjo bolt,
so you can still use the foot brake?"
He replied:
"So there's a few ways to do it.
~ From cheapest to most expensive:
1. Use your foot master, break out the sight glass and tap a hole for another banjo bolt.
( i don't actually understand how this would work....)
2. Use a double banjo and a left handed master for a clutch
or take a OEM front brake lever and turn it upside down and hope air doesn't get into it
(R1 handbrakes seem to be about level coming out, so tons of people use them).
3. Buy a second rear brake and run a long brake line to a rear handbrake and buy an
adapter plate that bolts up to where your OEM brake mounted to allow more than one brake."
