(249) This listing is for a Beautiful, Top Quality, Monogrammed Handle, 'Old English' pattern, Fiddle Back Silver Plated Serving Ladle, by the renowned Silversmiths 'Harrison Bros & Howson' of Norfolk Street, Sheffield,1847 - 1923. It is marked 'A1' 'H B & H' followed by a crown symbol' EP. also set within a quatrefoil 'are the letters 'RH' over 'RH', which represents 'Richard Hodd' of Hatton Garden, who would have been the retailers. The ladle which comes in a protective felt pouch, measures 34.5cm long, with a deep, 10.2cm wide bowl. I am unfortunately unclear as to what the monogram signifies. The ladle is in immaculate condition for it's age, and it would be sure to impress your dinner party guests.
