A little bit about this master goldsmith: John Donald studied at the Royal College of Art in London and began his career in jewellery around the mid 1950’s. Known for his innovations in both jewellery design and construction, he experimented with new techniques in studio jewellery, from design innovation, his treatment of molten metals to the setting of both precious and semi-precious gemstones.
