For sale here is a rare and gorgeous US Civil War Pennsylvania Salisbury Prisoner of War Memorial Dedication Medal.  The top hanger bar is marked Pennsylvania.  The lower bar has the names of 5 members of the Memorial condition.  The front of the medal is marked Pennsylvania Salisbury Memorial Dedication Nov. 16. 1910.  The back of the medal features a likeness of the memorial and is marked In Memory of Pennsylvania Soldiers Who Died In The Confederate Prison At Salisbury N.C. 1862-1865.  The red white and blue ribbon is in excellent condition.  All hanger bars and the medal are very well struck bronze.  The medal is thick and has a bit of heft to it.  This is a rare and beautiful medal.
