(44) This listing is for an attractive little Vintage (c1930s / 40s) Brass Door Knocker, in the shape of an African Elephant with a 'Howdah' mounted  on it's shoulders. It is 16.7cm high, and it has two holes on the striker plated for the screws, which are provided. It is in really good condition, with a rich brass lustre patina, and some Verdigris in it's nooks and crannies. It would make an interesting item of front door furniture, also being suited to an internal door of perhaps a man cave, home bar or similar situation.
