VINTAGE SPACE WHEEL "THE TALK OF THE GALAXY" KINETIC SCULPTURE BY ANDREWS - 1979.
On offer is a Vintage Space Wheel “The Talk Of The Galaxy” Kinetic Sculpture.
Made by Andrews Manufacturing in Eugene, Oregon in 1979, this awesome, vintage Space Wheel, "The Talk of the Galaxy", kinetic sculpture/perpetual motion toy will make a great and unusual gift for space buffs or anyone into cool moving desk art.
Made of high-quality plastic and Perspex and crafted with incredible attention to detail, this piece is a true gem. The wheel features intricate details and moves in a mesmerizing way that will leave you in awe and is actually quite therapeutic to watch.
The battery compartment is clean and has been checked with a new 9V 6F22 battery (not included) and is working like it would have done back in ‘79. The dimensions are 21cm long x 6.5cm wide x 8.5cm high.
Included are the original instruction/operating sheet, assembly instructions and an insert entitled " A Message to the Citizens of Earth" from the "Space Traders Federation". The box shows very minor signs of wear but is overall in very good condition for its age.
With its futuristic design, this Space Wheel was truly ahead of its time and is sure to be the talk of any galaxy-themed collection. Perfect for display, this item is a conversation starter and a must-have for any collector of space-themed memorabilia.
