These are two colour vintage postcards linked with the famous sea faring tales of Cornwall.

One depicts the sites of shipwrecks off the Cornwall coast and the other depicts the supposed sites of hidden treasure.

They are both pictorial artists’ impressions images rather than photographs.

Neither has been used and they are blank on the reverse other for the printed publisher accreditations.

They are attributed to Murray King Studio Casa Mia of St Ives and the hidden treasure card is described on the reverse as being part of the MK ‘Collectors Series’. This one is code numbered MK 1C and the shipwrecks card is code numbered MK19.

Show signs of their age and past handling but fairly good overall.

See photos for further assessment.
